Hey yall! Im coming at ya today with a little home decor inspiration. Last summer, Bennett and I built our own farmhouse table. The table is large, sturdy, and I LOVE how it turned out. It was so easy to build and now I get to decorate it how I like. The funny thing is, I didn’t have chairs until about a month ago. So if you’re following along, I had a table with no chairs for almost a year 😐. But hey, it happens right? Not only do I have chairs, but Bennett also made me a bench. And now I have a tabletop full of spring decor!

My style would definitely fit in the farmhouse category however I do feel like some farmhouse decor can get a bit too trendy for my taste. So to combat that, I like to mix in some bohemian pieces or elements that really show my personality rather than sticking to strictly HGTV type farmhouse.

One of my absolute favorite decor pieces on the table are the napkin rings made by my sister in law Hannah. She hand makes them with wooden beads, and oysters from Long Island. They are one of those things that I fell in love with instantly and once I got them, I actually styled most of my table decor around the rings. Along with these rings, Hannah also makes jewelry and candles. Make sure to give her Facebook page a like, The Lazy Dandelion!

Because its spring and the tablescape is definitely ‘spring themed’ I went with more muted tones and natural elements. I have light pink chargers, light gray napkins, eucalyptus stems, and a solid wood slice. The napkins on my table were given to me by Bennetts sweet Nana. I mentioned to her that I was decorating my table and the last thing I needed were napkins. So she asked what I was looking for, walked me to her back room and picked out the napkins for me!

My favorite place to shop is Hobby Lobby. So you will notice my whole table is decorated from there. However the chairs are from Amazon and we made the bench. You can browse through all the other decor, which I will link below. I really love how this table decor turned out! I believe that I can get away with keeping it until I gradually decide to transition to a more summertime table scape. Who else likes to decorate their tables for the different seasons or holidays? Now that I have my very own beautiful table, I am sure there will be lots more decorating and table posts coming to this blog!
